Standing Orders 2-41 headed Honorary List provides that former firefighters may wear NSWFB Dress Uniform at official NSWFB functions.

Any former firefighter who wears NSWFB Dress Uniform must wear the silver RF badges which signify that the member is a Retired Firefighter.

The RF insignia is worn on both epaulettes and is positioned immediately below the button.
