The Annual Sean Maroney 000 Aquathon is again to be held at Brighton Le Sands at 10am, Wednesday the 28th March 2018


The event consists of a 500 metre swim and 5 k run. The event raises funds for Police Legacy and has been running since 1988 and has a point score with trophy to see which service is "The Fittest". Current champions are the NSW Police Force 


The event is also in memory of one of the former competitors Sean Maroney who was the son of retired Assistant Commissioner Norm Maroney. The event is open to all emergency service workers, family and friends. The categories are Open, Age groups and Teams and caters for levels of fitness. Registration on the day at the Brighton Bay Athletics Club house on the board walk near the Brighton Le Sands Baths.


Entry fee is $50 on the day and includes a BBQ lunch at the completion of the event. A raffle draw for a mountain bike will also take place.  Further information at events/162757834371949
