Position No:724006. Corporate Head Office, Sydney. Permanent full-time. Total remuneration package valued to $103,912 pa including salary ($81,422 - $94,165), employer’s contribution to superannuation and leave loading.
Duties: Responsible for implementing an information security framework and policy, monitoring and maintenance of security policies, standards and processes and for providing expert and professional recommendations and advice on information on security matters.
Selection Criteria: Expert knowledge of and ability to understand and apply standards, legislation and government policies relating to information security. Extensive experience in the development and preparation of information security policies, standards, complex reports, and submissions. Excellent oral and written communication skills with well developed interpersonal, presentation negotiating and influencing skills. Extensive knowledge of security software and procedures for WAN, LAN, applications, servers, routers, and databases. Strong creative and analytical problem identification and resolution skills together to evaluate and resolve technical issues of a complex nature. Management experience at a senior level including during security breaches and BCP situations. Project planning and management skills. The ability to work independently and as a member of a small professional team. Formal qualifications are desirable in an IT related discipline. Common selection criteria also apply.

Sound interpersonal skills, which include written and oral communication skills, reception duties, and the ability to liaise with senior management. Knowledge and experience in finance/accounts and purchasing procedures. Demonstrated ability to problem-solve, use initiative and attend to detail. Ability to work with minimum supervision and prioritise workload in a dynamic environment. Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to maintain strict confidentiality. Commitment to provision of quality customer service. Demonstrated high level computer skills, including sound knowledge of and skills in word processing, spreadsheets and the use of computerised human resource and accounting systems.
